Doing a mobile tented safari across Botswana is probably one of the more genuine safari experiences that you can have in Africa today and this safari will take you through some of Botswana’s best safari areas giving you a very high chance of some outstanding safari sightings and experiences. The camp itself will be set up in private operator only sites ensuring exclusivity.
This is a really excellent safari both from the quality of camps but importantly the quality of the wildlife areas that they are in. If you want to enjoy a bit of luxury with quality game viewing right on your doorstep then this is your safari in this classic safari country that many rate as one of the best in Africa.
The green season in Botswana is one of my favorite times to be in this amazing country and I think this safari will take you to the best areas during the rains in Botswana. At this time the bush will be beautifully green, lots of baby animals everywhere along with many migratory birds and some in full breeding plumage. It is a stunning time of year to be on safari and great value.
This is an excellent safari with a total focus on the safari experience and get you into the best parts of these wonderful and different environments that make up this incredible wildlife area of Botswana, rated as one of Africa’s finest wild areas. The comfortable walk in safari tents will be set up in private campsites using different areas of the Moremi Game Reserve and Chobe National Park, each camp has its own support team who are there to ensure that you are comfortable with clean rooms – hot meals and cold drinks. Game viewing is done in open sided safari vehicles with individual bucket seats – ensuring everyone has a window seat Recharge facilities are available on the vehicle and back at camp.
Botswana is one of the best destinations in Africa during the green season of December through March. Much of the country is very dry and on Kalahari Sands, so when this receives any meaningful rain it springs into life and beauty, creating migrations of animals especially Zebra into these previously dry and now verdant areas, you will be amazed at the density of wildlife in these normally dry areas. Combining the Central Kalahari with the Makgadigadi Pans and then into the Okavango Delta is a wonderful combination and would suit any level of safari experience. It is also great for families as there are some really interactive activities like walking and learning from the San Bushmen with their amazing bush skills in the Kalahari or sitting with a family of Meerkats that may use you as a lookout post, these are very memorable experiences for anyone and help to bring the bush alive.
