Safaris in 2019
These Safaris are here to give you some ideas on what is possible but certainly not your only option and can be used as a good starting point to discuss your safari plans.
For more information about the Safaris in 2019 and availability, contact Doug and his team on the contact details provided.
A Safari designed to start either in Lusaka or Livingstone of Zambia and to take you through both the North and South of this vast wilderness area. It’s a park I have always had a soft spot for because of its real wilderness qualities and excellent game viewing. This safari has a combination of semi permanent and fly camps. A genuine safari experience in Zambia.
A safari that allows you to see a big part of Zimbabwe as we travel by road between the parks so you can see some of the beautiful scenery that sits between our National Parks in the South. These parks also give you excellent game viewing opportunity including both black and white rhino. This safari can be done at any time of the year.
9 nights in Mana Pools in three very different parts of the park using only tented camps, it’s a great way to see Mana and Doug will be able to give you a special experience in one of his favourite African Parks. – This is a dry season safari available from May through to the end of November 2018.
A very different safari designed for people that enjoy there walking, it is designed to let you experience the migration of Tanzania and see some stunning wildlife and scenery. A good combination of comfortable tented camps and basic fly camping.
A safari that will show you all the key highlights of this incredibly diverse country. The bulk of the journey is done by road starting from Windhoek so you will get to see from ground level how the amazing geology and scenery of this huge country keeps changing as you travel, and of course some excellent game viewing is also part of the safari. This safari would work in either the green season or dry season.
This safari starts and ends in Kigali - Rwanda , we drive to the DRC which is a fascinating drive on its own before getting into the Virunga National Park right on the border with Rwanda and Uganda. The Gorilla experience is amazing here and adding in a night on top of an active volcano will ensure a unique safari experience and let you see a side of the DRC that few people see and will surprise you.
A dry season safari that lets you explore some of the best parts of Mana Pools while staying in comfortable camps all inside Mana Pools National Park. This safari would be ideal for families with kids looking to explore Mana Pools.
A prime season safari in two of Zimbabwe’s best with a guide who knows these areas like his backyard. This is a set date safari that some guests have already booked so we are looking to book 4 more places.
A two week safari that gives you the best of Botswana in the wet season. A big range of activities are available during this safari making it very diverse with wonderful scenery and great wild life.
It is possible to adjust this safari to cater for your available days or specific interests.
Mobile Tented Camp Safari in Botswana – May – November 2018
A safari designed to see the best of the Okavango Delta in great camps. We would suggest using this as a core of a bigger safari so that you could add on places like Mana Pools or Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, or perhaps going to one of the beach type destinations in Africa. There is lots of possibilities with this safari.
A set date safari for a maximum of 6 guests to this fascinating and new safari destination. It’s a beautiful park that combines aspects of the Okavango Delta and the Luangwa National Park. The Game viewing is great as are the beautiful birds and I can assure you there will be some new mammal and bird ticks on your lists.
