Bush and Beach Safari in Mozambique – Dec 2022
Couthada 11 in Central Mozambique and the Maputo Special Reserve in the South are two incredible wildlife areas which will compliment each other beautifully on this wonderful safari opportunity. Couthada 11 is an area that very few people ever get to go to, as it is a hunting area but we have been given special permission at the end of their safari season to explore this rich ecosystem. You will get to see some of the amazing work that has happened here with the rehabilitation of the area and wildlife populations, like the reintroduction of Lions and Cheetah and the work that has happened to support and uplift the communities that live here. You will also be able to send time talking with the researchers here and learn from them what they are uncovering in this fascinating and largely unexplored area.
You then go to a Coastal Safari area where you can enjoy herds of elephants in the morning, go snorkelling along one of the reefs in the afternoon and then watch turtle hatchlings emerge at night is really an amazing and varied safari experience that will appeal to the nature lovers that enjoy exploring all that is around them and keen to seek out the big animals and the small creatures alike.
