Botswana’s Best in the Green – 9 Nights Jan to Mar 22
Botswana is one of the best destinations in Africa during the green season of December through March. Much of the country is very dry and on Kalahari Sands, so when this receives any meaningful rain it springs into life and beauty, creating migrations of animals especially Zebra into these previously dry and now verdant areas, you will be amazed at the density of wildlife in these normally dry areas. Combining the Central Kalahari with the Makgadigadi Pans and then into the Okavango Delta is a wonderful combination and would suit any level of safari experience. It is also great for families as there are some really interactive activities like walking and learning from the San Bushmen with their amazing bush skills in the Kalahari or sitting with a family of Meerkats that may use you as a lookout post, these are very memorable experiences for anyone and help to bring the bush alive.

Okavango Delta and Makgadikgadi Pan- Dec or Jan
When the rains come to this area of Botswana it is my favorite time to see the Okavango Delta and the Kalahari areas. You will enjoy the bush and animals in top condition and lots of excellent sightings, baby animals, birds in breeding plumage and some epic cloud scapes and few other safari vehicles.
Even if it does rain during your safari it is often reasonably isolated and for short periods so it is very rare that you wont be able to go out on your safari activities and if anything a little bit of rain enhances the whole experience.
