This is an excellent safari with a total focus on the safari experience and get you into the best parts of these wonderful and different environments that make up this incredible wildlife area of Botswana, rated as one of Africa’s finest wild areas. The comfortable walk in safari tents will be set up in private campsites using different areas of the Moremi Game Reserve and Chobe National Park, each camp has its own support team who are there to ensure that you are comfortable with clean rooms – hot meals and cold drinks. Game viewing is done in open sided safari vehicles with individual bucket seats – ensuring everyone has a window seat Recharge facilities are available on the vehicle and back at camp.
Botswana is one of the best destinations in Africa during the green season of December through March. Much of the country is very dry and on Kalahari Sands, so when this receives any meaningful rain it springs into life and beauty, creating migrations of animals especially Zebra into these previously dry and now verdant areas, you will be amazed at the density of wildlife in these normally dry areas. Combining the Central Kalahari with the Makgadigadi Pans and then into the Okavango Delta is a wonderful combination and would suit any level of safari experience. It is also great for families as there are some really interactive activities like walking and learning from the San Bushmen with their amazing bush skills in the Kalahari or sitting with a family of Meerkats that may use you as a lookout post, these are very memorable experiences for anyone and help to bring the bush alive.
This is an excellent safari for anyone at any level of safari experience, and takes you to three of Botswana’s most diverse and fascinating safari areas that all have a big reputation for quality game viewing and stunning scenery. Doing these three areas is a combination that will ensure that each camp is really a totally new experience while being pampered with a high quality of service and camp facilities.
When the rains come to this area of Botswana it is my favorite time to see the Okavango Delta and the Kalahari areas. You will enjoy the bush and animals in top condition and lots of excellent sightings, baby animals, birds in breeding plumage and some epic cloud scapes and few other safari vehicles.
Even if it does rain during your safari it is often reasonably isolated and for short periods so it is very rare that you wont be able to go out on your safari activities and if anything a little bit of rain enhances the whole experience.
