Zakouma National Park in Chad is an incredible destination and now one of the must see places for regular safari travellers. It is one of the last in tact ecosystems of the Sahel area with wonderful densities of wildlife and species that you don’t see in many other places, like Tiang, Kordofan Giraffe, Llewel’s Hartebeest, Roan Antelope, Red Fronted Gazelle, Central African Savannah Buffalo to name a few. The cat sightings are excellent here as well especially the lions and serval. Another feature that is draw dropping, are the volume and variety of birds here that will keep any bird lover in awe and paging through your books.
The safari is a small group trip for a maximum of 6 people and has 1 night in Ndjamena and 7 Nights at Tinga Camp all guided by Doug Macdonald.
